Softrip’s Travel Software is able to handle the most complex tour packaging, incorporating multiple tour components. Once created, package and price data can be exported to a web page or a typesetting system for brochure development. The system allows for the control of complex group tours, managing departures by vehicle, by guide or by date of service. Softrip additionally provides comprehensive inventory management and the ability to negotiate individual tour components, such as airlines and ground handlers, which could be negotiated and utilized for the creation of multiple products, each with different target markets.

Campaign Management

Reservations

Softrip is a true web-based system and not merely web-enabled. Both local and remote users have access to the products which may then be included in brochures, artwork and information links. The system user interface is directed to internal reservations and sales agents, retail travel agents as well as the end-user. Each user has access to various products, and if deemed appropriate, different pricing levels. This multi-tiered approach helps our clients individually serve their varied customers and markets, yet be capable of running on one system. And since Softrip is web-based, the system supports reservation centers in multiple geographic locations. Enabling the ability of cross training and support of one reservation center by another. The Softrip technology does not conflict with the independent development of a corporate image or web site design. CRS Access

Softrip maintains a central bank of terminal addresses which may be allocated to system wide users on a first-come, first-served basis, also taking into account external users. This feature maximizes the use of each CRS connection. The technology, developed in cooperation with Sabre, Amadeus, WorldSpan, Galileo, enables the user-company to significantly reduce costs related to the use of CRS systems, and to negotiate reverse booking fees (payments per segment for each segment exceeding the minimum requirement).
